The Verdannet Fromager is one of the oldest cheese-making enterprises in Haute-Savoie. For three generations, the men of the family have preserved the authenticity and quality of raw-milk cheeses (fromages au lait cru) renown for their excellence: Tomme de Savoie IGP, Gruyère de Savoie, Tome des Bauges AOC, Cru de Savoie, Emmental de Savoie IGP, Emmental grand cru Label Rouge, Reblochon de Savoie AOC, Abondance AOC and Raclette au lait cru de Savoie. Verdannet Fromager has already won more than 13 first prizes at the Agriculture Show in Paris! With more than 150 employees, 6 traditional cheese-making dairies, a fabrication, refining and shipping workshop, and more than 300 producers in Savoy, Verdannet Fromager is highly involved in the regional economy.
